Pics

I think I have found 5 pics I have not used on my site yet so I am going to make a gallery even though I am not really thrilled with them.
I need to get more pics takes and if I have to I guess I can go to my grandma's and have her take some, I would like to meet a guy here in Boise close to my age I am attracted to who would be willing to take pics for my site, I always take the best pics when I am flirting and comfortable with the photographer.

Crafty girl

I have a handful of different craft projects going right now.
I am making a patchwork throw for the futon out of Upholstery jacard, I am making a faux tile top for my coffee table using paint chips in shades of blue with an Indian looking flower at random over it in different shades of paint chips (I don't know if this one will really work))
I am dong painted switch plate covers and a painted planter for my front room... I am going for a slightly Indian inspired look.

I see people in chat going on about how bored they are, I don't understand this. My mom and grandma always told us being bored is a sign of a boring person and I hate to say but I have to agree. I always have something to do, something to craft, to read, to write, to say, and if I have even a few dollars I can go somewhere and have coffee and people watch. I don't have an exciting party party party life but I never let myself get truly bored.

More Erotica

After not being motivated to write for quite a while I have actually been on serious jag of Erotica writing. I now have 11 stories posted at LitErotica.com with two more pending that should be up sometime this next week.

The two newest stories posted at LitErotica are:
Jay Becomes a feeder.... a story I wrote over a year ago for a BF and have re-editied.
and
Agoraphilia.... a story I wrote last week about a man who submits to a BBW Domme in a park.

Sunday night I went to the local truck stop for coffee and fries and since I had forgotten my book I sat there folding oragami cranes (I want to make a 'beaded' curtain with them) and watching this guy talk on the hall phone for at least an hour. He was a Native American guy in jeans, t-shirt and long black trenchcoat, but more to the point was his hair, this amazing curtain of heavy black silk all the way down his back.
I have never written about someone I just saw and did not know, in fact I have seldom written about real people, but something about his look and the setting caught my attention.
I have now written 2 long erotica stories about a man similar to the guy in truckstop (of course the guy in my story is taller, better looking and a great guy but then that is what fantasies are for...LOL) I am thinking of making it at least a trilogy. Those stories are pending right now, keep an eye out for them.

Remember if you read my stories be sure to rate them and if you want post a comment.

TMJ

My TMJ (grinding teeth) is acting up, I know it is from drinking coffee which I only do once in a while and did a bit too much this week.
Because of the grinding my shoulders and neck hurt and becasue they hurt I get really tense and grind worse.
I called into my Drs office and had them call in a script for Flexeril, I don't really like taking pain meds so a small script can last me 6 months or more, I just take them when the pain is so bad I can not sleep.
Only thing is I have not been asleep for about 20 hours now and before that I had only about 3 hours sleep, I am too sleepy to drive over and get my meds so I am going to try to take a nap so i can get the meds that will help me sleep...LOL

My week

Even though I have not been able to get on line much this last week I have been kind of busy. I went to see Van Helsing and Ella Enchanted
Van Helsing was amazing, with lots of things jumping out at you all over the place, I can handle all the violence, and gory things do not bother me but having things jump up BOOOO gets me everytime, I squeeked a few times and ended up having the people around me laughing about it.
Ella Enchanted was a sweet, funny silly movie, sort of brain candy which is great sometimes and since I only paid $3 to go to it I was not disappointed.

over the last two weeks I have been reading a lot, here is a few of the books I have finished:
Amanda Quick; her newest book - PAID COMPANION (read that at the book store) Also reread Mystique

Janet Evanovich; I reread HOT SIX and just read SEVEN UP ((ummm ranger))) I think I will go over to the book store for coffee and read Hard eight.

Kat Martin; HEARTLESS and PERFECT SIN

Nora Roberts; KEY OF LIGHT, KEY OF VALOR, KEY OF KNOWLEDGE

Jessica Speart; GATOR AIDE

Jill Churchill; MULCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING

Donna Kauffman; THE BIG BAD WOLF TELLS ALL

MaryJanice Davidson; THE ROYAL TREATMENT ((funny as hell))

We also had a picnic on Saturday for my Uncle Harley's graduation from Boise State University. It was a bit chilly and one point began to lightly rain, being the hardy (and stubborn) family we are we all ended up sitting out in the rain for about 20 mins till it went away.

Problems

I have not been around because I am having serious computer problems.
After going for nearly 5 years without a virus hit I am now fighting about 5 of them, I have run a variety of scans and all they have able to do it lock them up so they can not infect anything worse but they have my computer running like crap.
I keep scanning and hoping each new update will clear it up.... oh well yesterday I could not keep the computer from locking up long enough to even get on line.
Personally I think when they catch people who make this stuff they should give the people who were effected a WHACK at them, literally. Take them to a stadium and give anyone who can show they were infected a baseball bat and we all get one swing each.

Crystals

As I have said before I love shiny things and I really like my balcony so here is part of how I am decorating it.
The sun shines on the lower part at the railing for hours a day so I have put my suncatcher crystals between the rails.

Tesseract

A Wrinkle in Time
I remember reading this book as a kid and loving it, even back the I rememver thinking how deep it was (now I think of it as both metaphysical and aa a cultural statement both for the time it was written and for now)
Disney just adapted the book into a TV movie and I have to say I am impressed by the work they did. I was also surprised by how much I remember of this and other Madeleine L'Engle books I read that same year, The Wind in the Door, A Swiftly Tilting Planet

I really want to reread these books.

Questions #2 and #3

#2 what is your favorite movie of all time?
Wow I have a lot of movies I just love but mostly I like types of movies.
I really don't like chick flicks, I honestly perfer action movies and fantasy - Sc-fi movies especially if they are a bit on the odd side.
Movies like PLUP FICTION, KILL BILL v1 (2 was ok but no where near as good)
The MATRIX series (I personally liked them all pretty well) FROM DUSK TO DAWN and ONCE APON A TIME IN MEXICO
The LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY (I watched all of them on the big screen within a 10 day period...amazing)
So far I have really Enjoyed the HARRY POTTER series and really want to see the third one because i enjoy the directors work and loved the books though I came to them late and ended up reading all of them in one week a couple months after the last one came out.
The first SPIDERMAN is the best comic adaption in a decade, the X-MEN series is also wonderful but not as true an adaption.
I love BLADE RUNNER, it is a classic.
Though I really don't like horror movies at all ((teen Horror movies are the worse I can image being made to watch))
I do like some really great Smart, suspence thrillers like WHAT LIES BENEATH and SILENCE OF THE LAMBS and HANNIBAL (I still need to see RED DRAGON)
I love some old movies and have seen them many times, SOME LIKE IT HOT,
FATHER GOOSE,
WE'ER NO ANGLES (my favorite Christmas movie)
HIS GIRL FRIDAY and many more.
I love some of the great films from other countries,
Austrailian... STRICLY BALLROOM, PRICILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT, MURIEL'S WEDDING. French... LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, RECKLESS, LA FEMME KIKITA.
Spanish... TIE ME UP, TIE ME DOWN, WOMAN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREALDOWN, LIKE WATER FOR CHOCOLATE.

#3 favorite directors?
I admit I like really moody odd work and some of my favorite directors reflect this.
Robert Rogrigues ... From Dusk to Dawn, Once Apon a Time in Mexico,

Quentin Tarantino ... Plup Fiction, Kill Bill v1 & v2, Reservoir Dogs

David Lynch ... Blue Velvet, Lost Highway, Wild at Heart ((also Twin Peaks))

Baz Luhrmann ... Strictly Ballroom, Moulin Rouge

Pedro Almodóvar ... Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down, Woman On the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown

Zalman King ... the BEST Director of Erotica (not porn) out there, Red Shoe Diaries, Wild Orchid

Coen Bros ... The Big Lebowski, Blood Simple

Ridley Scott ... Blade Runner, Thelma and Louise,

Shiny things

I use to love to watch the crows in the zoo and the one my dad had as a pet when I was a kid horde shiny things, they would take anything shiny and put it away to play with. I know if I have a spirit animal it is a crow.
Here is one of my set of shiny things, these paperweights are on the windowsill in my Study.

rubbing Ruth fer a nickel?

The weight board at dimensionsmagazine.com has a conversation about names for female masturbation which made me laugh
Here are a few they came up with:

splashing the gash
quizzing the quim
checking up on Old Faithful
clapping for the clit
massaging the joyspot
pleasing the gazelle
grooming the Lady Rooster
driving Sappho's car to Ecstasy
mining for pleasure
keeping the pitbull quiet
rubbing Ruth fer a nickel
visiting Mother Superior
petting the pussy
brushing the beaver
Buff the muff
Stir the pot
Flick the bean
visit with BOB
coddle the clam
Driving Miss Daisy

Those are from: Santaclear, Jenny, Delaney and Lilly

Listening to: A mix CD of Jill Scott, Aliscia Keys, Angie Shore and India.arie . . . oh yeah and jack hammer outside

Another thing off the list

Mom came over and helped me put together the 3 bookcases I bought earlier, now I actually have a place to put my collections and nick nacs so I can start unpacking. I really need to put up the wall mount shelves but they are a bit of a pain, so I think I will end up storing them in the winter closet (the deeper closet in the study) until I get more motivated and see where I want to put my art.
Feels good to start getting stuff done.

In Praise of my apartment

I know anyone who reads this on a regular basis is sick of me saying how much I love my new place but I DO.
If you have never lived in a divey place you have grown to hate with a passion, where you feel trapped and where you just don't care what happens to it and where you don't feel safe...then you just don't understand what it is to get a nice, newer place that is clean, bright, safe, full of light and air. I literally find myself dancing with joy in my new place, making plans and following through ((slowly but surely))
I am happy to be here, happy to come home and not ashamed for once to have people see my place.
It is weird how happy I get just seeing the light shine through the glass paperweights I put on my window sill in the study ((I could call it an office but office makes it sound like you HAVE to work, in a study you CAN work, or goof off or what ever))
Or how much I love being able to actually hang up my paintings, or even to just have my couch after living in a place too small.
I have said it before I am easily amused.

The right color do

I finally got my hair the color I want and I love it. I had tried a streak kit and ended up getting pissed and putting all over my hair making it a strawberry Very Blond, only problem is I don't look that good in blond, I end up washed out and pinkish instead of just creamy.
Anyway I bought a kit of Garnier 1005 color in bright red and took the already blond parts of my hair I wanted to leave streaky and gathered them up on top of my head and drenched them in a heavy conditioner then bundled them up in a ball with some heavy hair ties. I love the color the Garnier gave me but the actual coloring formula is thinnish and runs a lot and makes a mess, for actually being the easiest to use that way Ultress wins.
I am so happy with the final color I got mom to take a pic today.

Finally the right color

As I mentioned here before I tried the streaking thing wiht my hair, hated it so I bought another bottle of the streaking bleach kit and did the entire head of hair.
Thing is I dont look good as a blond, my mom does but I end up looking washed out.
Anyway I bought a kit of Garnier's 100% color and tried it to add red back into my hair... I gathered up the bits I did not want to dye, drenched them in a thick conditioner and then bundled them on the top of my head in a ball held by very thick bands. I then put the red dye all over the rest of it ((they call this a gel formula but I saw no difference and unlike Ultress the Garnier was thinner and kind of runny making it messy as hell))
Anyway it was not until this moring that I got a really good idea just how well I like it..I LOVE IT.
I honestly think it about the best color set I have ever had.
But see for your

one thing off the list

Ok I put my list of things to do on here so I might as well keep up with it.
I went through my bags and bags of clothing and sweaters, sheets and towles .. God I have tons of stuff..LOL and that is after giving away and tossing a bunch of stuff when I moved in here.
I now have two really big closets and so I have sorted stuff into winter stuff and summer stuff, funny thing is putting away my clothing just makes me want to get and make more of it...LOL
I think this all goes back to when I was young and could not find clothes to fit and when we did not sew, I am making up for having to wear the same 4 ugly skirts to 6th grade for so long just cause we could not find clothes in my size 24 years ago.
I am lucky I don't have a charge account at Lane bryant anymore or I would be in debtors prison, Poor grandma on the other hand gets hit up for her account when i see something I have to have, thankfully for both of she will say no or I would be visiting her in debtors prison...LOL

A small bouquet or orange spray roses ((my favorite)) for drying
I have got to stop buying stuff this month and be a good girl

Chris Issak Lyric

"Don't Get So Down On Yourself"

I got the picture, that you finally sent.
I read your letter, and I know what you meant.
That's you and me, in Salt Lake City.
You sure look pretty.

Wish we could go back again.

And are you on my mind, every day, all the time?
And though you're far away, don't you know, I feel the same.

Oh well anyway, I just called to say,
Everything's gonna be okay.
Your friends aren't that far away.
Anyway.
Don't get so down on yourself.
Don't get so down on yourself.
Don't get so down on yourself.
Think of me with you.

Oh well anyway, I just called to say,
Everything's gonna be okay.
Your friends aren't so far away.
Tomorrow's another day.

Don't get so down on yourself.
Don't get so down on yourself.
Don't get so down on yourself.

Think of me with you.
Don't get so down on yourself.
Don't get so down on yourself.
Don't get so down on yourself.

Think of me with you.
Cause I do. I think of you.

Nightline

I have never quoted an entire article from the web before but I feel that this Ap/Yahoo News storiy on the censorship of tonights Nightline show gives the information better then I could summerize it
Personally I thought that this was an amazing show and that you could take it anyway you wish, if you are antiwar you can see it as a list those of those who died in vain, and if you are prowar you can see it as a list of those who died for a good cause, this is simply information, it is neither for or against, THAT is a matter of personal preception.

Here is a link to the list itself

'Nightline' War Dead List Causes Uproar

By LYNN ELBER, AP Television Writer

LOS ANGELES - Ted Koppel solemnly read aloud the names of 721 U.S. servicemen and women killed in the Iraq (news - web sites) war during an unusual edition of "Nightline" Friday.

Koppel's recitation — illustrated with corresponding photo, military branch, rank and age of each of the fallen since March 19, 2003 — occupied the expanded 40-minute program.

There was no music, no graphic flourishes. Name followed name, photo followed photo, with two Americans' pictures on the screen at any given moment. Some of the faces looked determined. Others were smiling. There were brief station breaks, but, jarring as they may have been, they were also welcome, giving viewers a chance to catch their breath.

The "Nightline" presentation seemed to occupy the calm eye of a storm stirred up by soldiers' relatives, media watchdogs and Sen. John McCain after a TV station group announced its refusal to air the ABC News program, accusing it of having an anti-war slant.

"Nightline" anchor Koppel addressed the uproar in his introduction.

"This was never intended to be about us," he said, "and for all the controversy swirling around the program, tonight is just going to be about the men and women who have died in the war in Iraq."

When the names had been read, Koppel added a closing thought.

"Our goal tonight was to elevate the fallen above the politics and the daily journalism ...," he said. He added that the reading of the names "was neither intended to provoke opposition to the war, nor was it meant as an endorsement."

Some viewers couldn't see or hear him, or the "Nightline" tribute.

The Fox affiliate in Greenville, S.C. — one of the affected markets — planned to air the program blacked out by the local ABC affiliate.

But earlier in the day, McCain, a prisoner of war in Vietnam, sent a strongly worded letter to Sinclair Broadcast Group about its decision to pull "Nightline" from seven ABC stations throughout the country.

"There is no valid reason for Sinclair to shirk its responsibility in what I assume is a very misguided attempt to prevent your viewers from completely appreciating the extraordinary sacrifices made on their behalf by Americans serving in Iraq," the Arizona Republican said in the letter Friday.

Military Families Speak Out, whose anti-war members have relatives or loved ones in the military, condemned Sinclair's decision, saying it was "dishonoring our troops and their families."

The group's Web site posted one member's letter of opposition.

"The Sinclair Broadcast group is trying to undermine the lives of our soldiers killed in Iraq. By censoring `Nightline' they want to hide the toll the war on Iraq is having on thousands of soldiers and their families, like mine," wrote Jane Bright of West Hills, Calif. (Her son, Sgt. Evan Ashcraft, was killed in July near Mosul, Iraq.)

"We should be honoring all the men and women who have served," said Ivan Medina, 22, of Hinesville, Ga., who was with the Army in Iraq and whose twin brother, Irving, died there. "My hat goes off to `Nightline.'"

Free Press, which describes itself as a national media reform group, sent its own letter to Sinclair questioning whether the company's actions violated federal rules governing "stewardship of the public airwaves."

The letter, signed by Free Press managing director Josh Silver, said the group intended to encourage viewers served by Sinclair stations to weigh in when TV license renewal hearings are held.

Robert McChesney, the organization's president, called Sinclair's motives into question.

"No one thinks for a second this decision has anything to do with journalism," McChesney said. "It's a politics-slash-business decision that Sinclair made because they don't want to (anger) the White House."

Sinclair, a political supporter of the Bush administration, is trying to curry favor with the White House to bolster chances of gaining changes in station ownership rules, McChesney alleged.

"The stench of corruption here is extraordinary," he said.

White House spokesman Scott McClellan said Friday: "I don't think we decide you all's coverage. I think we should always remember and honor all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice defending our freedoms."

Maryland-based Sinclair, whose holdings include 62 TV stations, made $65,434 in 2004 political donations — 98 percent of that to Republicans and 2 percent to Democrats — according to the Web site opensecrets.org, which tracks contributions.

Sinclair announced Thursday it would pre-empt "Nightline" on its ABC affiliates, including stations in Columbus, Ohio, and St. Louis, Mo. It said the program "appears to be motivated by a political agenda designed to undermine the efforts of the United States in Iraq."

Calling the broadcast a political statement "disguised as news content," Sinclair pointed to the producers' omission of "the names of thousands of private citizens killed in terrorist attacks" since 9-11.

WTXL-TV, the Tallahassee, Fla., ABC affiliate that has an agreement to share resources with Sinclair but controls its own programming, planned to air Friday's "Nightline."

Early reports had wrongly included the Media Venture Management-owned station among those dropping the show. That prompted a flood of correspondence, said WTXL station manager Mike Plummer.

"The overwhelming response has been people want it," he said Friday.

ABC noted its news division had reported "hundreds of stories on 9-11" while adding that, on the first anniversary of that tragedy, it aired the victims' names.

Still, some observers questioned ABC's motives.

Brent Bozell, president of the Media Research Center, derided what he called the program's "partisan nature," saying its one goal was "to turn public opinion against the war."
